Sowing Mercy...

This is one big thing that God has been teaching me lately...

My earlier post was on God's great mercy...This post is on how He wants us to extend this to others.

There have been many situations of late where I have just had to step back and realize...if I were in the other's persons' shoes (which I have been so many times before)...I would want to receive mercy...forgiveness...a lighter load. So, as the good Word says..."Do unto others...as you would have done unto you." Let us all try to do that today. Because life is full of hurt and mistakes...and I have found that PEOPLE never live up to my expectations...as I am sure I do not live up to other people's expectations...so why not just forgive them...grant them mercy for messing up...for not treating you righteously...or whatever it is...and let us have our expectations focused on Him who can fulfill ALL OF THEM...because He IS perfect...and always does what is righteous...always has our best interest at heart...and promises to work out all things for the good of those who love Him.

Thank you God for being someone we can ALWAYS trust and count on...and thank you for giving us the courage, humility and grace to extend mercy and forgiveness to others. Help us to allow you to be our defense and to take up our case for us!

God's mercies are truly new every morning...

Thank God for that. You know...I am probably too hard on myself. I am not where I want to be at 27 years old. More than anything, I want to be further along in my character development. I want to do as I see the Father doing in heaven just like Jesus did. But, when I sit and ponder it all...I am soooo thankful that God's mercies are new every morning! That even though I am not there yet...God sees me as He sees His Son, righteous. I thank God that although my sins were crimson...He has made me white as snow! Praise God for His indescribable mercy!

Thank you God that you redeem the years the locusts have stolen away...God can restore what is lost! Maybe you also have days, moments, years...that you just haven't done as God would want you to do...well there is GREAT NEWS! God is sooooo forgiving! He is able to do more than you can ask or imagine...that includes allowing you to accomplish more in the days you have left than you would have...or give you more days...or whatever He wants...bc TRULY He has numbered your days...He is outside of time...OH, WHAT A GREAT GOD WE SERVE! May our latter days be greater than our former...and may we truly see His glory, love, power and salvation!

Just checkin' in!

Well, I haven't posted in quite awhile. Life has been so busy. I am trying to get ready to start full blown school with all the kids this week...I am soooo excited! I still have a bit more to do in planning...but it is coming together nicely. Be sure to check out our other blogs over the next couple weeks bc I am going to start updating them so you can share in the tremendous amount of fun :)

I thank God soooo much for my wonderful kids! THEY ARE SUCH A BLESSING! I am excited for all the fun times we are about to have together...LORD, please allow me to enjoy every moment of it...They grow up sooo fast! My baby just turned 1...I can't believe it!!!

Well, I just wanted to let you all know I am still here...and doing well...

Love you guys...and CONGRATS to my cousins....Sarah, who just had a beautiful baby girl...and Amy who just found out she is expecting!!! YEA!!! I LOVE BABIES! Hopefully we can all get together soon and I can add some boys to the bunch :)
